Various questions on ATCOR-4
Quote:We have a few easy questions that I can't find answers to in the ATCOR4 manual or in the forums.

 1. In the output from ATCOR4 band names are given as refl [%*100],
what does this symbol mean? I ask because when displayed theband
names themselves are multiplied by 1000 not 100  eg Band 0.4331 is
displayed in the header file as 433.11.
The symbol simple means 'reflectance in % (percent) times 100; ie a reflectance of 10% gets a value of 1000 (this is the default to make it fit into an integer data type).

Quote:2. Some bands are displayed with an asterisk following their name,
and some are not. What does the asterisk represent? eg 753.14*
    refl [%*100].
The asterisk in the band name indicates interpolated bands; interpolation for water vapor absorption regions may be configured in the atcor preferences panel.

Quote:3. After atmospheric correction, the pixel values are integer, with
ranges from 0 to ~1500. But, in the header file, the reflectance
scale factor = 10000. So, which values do I use to scale the data
to sensible reflectance values (given the [%*100] symbol in my Q1
    also).
The reflectance scale factor is defined respective to the unitless reflectance (i.e. a reflectance of 0.1 is 10% and gets 1000).
