Which radiance unit is used by MODO?
Modtran usually stores data on a [W / (cm[sup]2[/sup] cm[sup]-1[/sup]) ] basis. The extraction procedures of MODO automatically perform a transformation to [mW / (m[sup]2[/sup] nm) ]. The reason being that this unit is commonly used for airborne remote sensing applications, the major application for which MODO is meant for.
