RE: Error trying to open non-existent .atmi file
(23-Jun-2022, 03:38 PM)FCarotenuto Wrote: Hallo,

This kind of error typically appears if there are some write access restrictions to the atm_lib directory of the ATCOR-4 installation. The *atmi file is a temporary, interpolated atmospheric correction LUT, which is written to atm_lib. There are some measures to take to avoid this problem:
- make the atm_lib directory writeable for anybody
- on multi-user systems, make sure that all processes are completely done; there may be lurking atmi files if an execution was stopped.
- delete atmi files manually after execution if there was a failure
- check in the ATCOR Preferences 'Delete *atmi files' (last line of preferences panel)
- On Windows: install ATCOR-4 in a place different from "Program Files" as that directory has more read/write restrictions than normal directories.

Hope that helps,

Daniel

====
I'm again running ATCOR 4 in batch mode for multiple flight lines (a total of 25 VNIR and 25 SWIR). After running correctly 22 of them, ATCOR 4 suddenly stops with an error about reading an atm file.

The log file (in attachment) reports an error in accessing a file:

Code:
2022-06-23T15:18:41        atcor4r_batch: *** Error: ATCOR Batch Execution Failure - Exiting
2022-06-23T15:18:41        atcor4r_batch: OPENW: Error opening file. Unit: 101
         File: C:\Program Files\ReSe_Software_Win64\atcor_4\atm_lib\HySpex_SWIR_RT_WFOV\h02503_wv04_dese.atmi
2022-06-23T15:18:41        atcor4r_batch: Accesso negato.
