The pixel size of DEMs can be considerably larger than the target pixel size of your results. So, one may use the native pixel size of the DEM for the processing and for the creation of the IGM, whereas the pixel size of the result can be defined when doing the resampling. PARGE interpolated in the DEM directly during the geocoding process.
