Startup problems - MS Visual C++ 2010

It has come to our attention that the included IDL VM 8.4 of the ReSe Software distriubtion requires the MS Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package.
(see: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download...x?id=13523). This package is not always installed in windows systems by default and may 
have to be added. The IDL VM startup will simply fail if the component is missing (without further notice). 
The download is obtainable directly from the above web site. Please run this installer, in case the software can not be started as expected.
