AOT
Quote:We have some airborne hyperspectral images we want to atmospherically correct. For this we use Atcor 4.
We were wondering if it possible to instead of using a visibility parameter to use AOT values in Atcor? We can't find whether this is possible from the manual.

The visibility as of ATCOR is a proxy for the aerosol total optical thickness at 550 nm. Enclosed you find a table which shows this relation.
So, if you want to enter the AOT, you need to search for the corresponding visibility and use that one. The reason ist that the underlying MODTRAN model also uses the term 'visibility' to tune the total aerosol amount.
