Quote:When I read MODO-5 user manual provided on your website, I recognized that the sensor spectral response files have different file format than that used in MODTRAN (.spc versus .flt). I'm wondering if I can create a .spc file for a new sensor on my own and if the software recognize a user defined .spc file.
MODO has its own routines for convolution of MODTRAN outputs to the spectral sensor configuration specifications. The latter may be given either as spc files with center wavelength/FWHM or as *rsp files with explicite responses for each spectral band. Both formats are ASCII files and may be changed and updated as you wish and of course new sensors may be defined as well by adding such files in the given two formats.
