What's the difference between a node locked and a dual license? - rese_support - 30-Sep-2014 The licensing policy for both ATCOR and PARGE is as follows: - Node locked license: The software is licensed to one single machine and locked to it's Host-ID.An additional license may be issued for a backup machine upon request. This license is meant for a single user at one time only. - Dual license: The software is licensed to two single machines and locked to their respective Host-IDs.Alternatively, the license may be bound to an IDL installation number (if available). A maximum of two backup licenses may be issued, which may also be used for field work.If installed on a server, the license may be used by various users simultaneously(specifically in a Linux environment). For MODO and MODO PRO, the licensing types and policy is different: - Node locked single user license (MODO): The software is licensed to one single machine and User and locked to it's Host-ID. - Group license (MODO) The software is licensed for up to 3 named end users within the same workgroup and may be installed onup to 4 machines. |
