How do i perform atmospheric correction with MODO/MODTRAN? - rese_support - 30-Sep-2014

MODO/MODTRAN are forward calculating radiative transfer codes. They can be used to derive at-sensor radiance on the basis of surface reflectance data. Their inversion (reflectance from radiance) can be done on the basis of pre-calculated Look Up Tables (LUTs) of MODTRAN calculations. Separate codes have been created for that purpose (-> see ATCOR description). With version 5 of MODO, a simple atmospheric correction (SACO) has been included in the software which however only can do a rough correction over flat terrain.
