AVIRIS correction help, ".atm files must be resampled with new .bp7" - AuxiliaryPie - 24-Mar-2016 Hello, I am trying to process an old AVIRIS image (from the GRSFE project) and ran into a few issues. Originally I had planned on using the predefined AVIRIS_98 sensor but it only offers bands 1-62, so I simply updated the sensor (saved under a new name) to include 1-224 bands. The real issue I have now is when I proceed to run Image Processing, I get the following errors: "*** Error: .atm files must be resampled with new .bp7 ***" "*** Update the .bp7 files in atm_database !" From what I have been able to gather, .bp7 files are the atmospheric files? I re-downloaded all of them (except for GMTED Elevation Data) but ATCOR is still giving me the error. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Please check if you got the correct ones in the directory 'atm_database'. They should have a size of 39.6 MB each. After installing the new bp7 files, the RESLUT module is to be run for all sensors. This will re-create the sensor-specific LUT files (situated in atm_lut) with the new format. The format changed with Version 7.0 of ATCOR in 2015. I've run RESLUT on my Aviris sensor (as well as all the other ones) with the newly downloaded .atm files but I am still seeing the same errors. I am unaware of a folder named "atm_lut", could that be my problem? Perhaps the RESLUT products are not being stored properly? Thanks again for the help, it is much appreciated. RE: AVIRIS correction help, ".atm files must be resampled with new .bp7" - reseadmin - 29-Mar-2016 Did you download the bp7-files? To make sure the installation is correct: - the directory 'atm_database' in atcor_4 contains all *.bp7 files which are the original database sampled at 0.4nm resolution - the directory 'atm_lut' in atcor_4 contains the sensor specific *.atm files in sensor-subdirectories; these are created by the RESLUT program. Possibly, you'd need to clean the atm_lut directory first such that no old-format *atm files are lurking there. To make sure the installation is correct: I downloaded the atmospheric files from within ATCOR (Help -> Install Components) which are .bp7 files and they are the correct file size. However I do not have an "atm_lut" folder in my "atcor_4" directory. In fact, I found my RESLUT products in the folder "atm_lib" which contains a sub folder for each sensor, which then contains the resampled .atm files. Is this a problem? It would make sense if so because I have been unable to process any images successfully using atcor (I'm trying to use AVIRIS to test what I'm doing wrong because it is a proven sensor). edit- I have deleted the resampled .atm files for my AVIRIS sensor and ran RESLUT again, but I have ran into the same error again. |
